I am the 1st counselor in my ward’s bishopric.* Despite this really prestigious spiritual calling, I haven’t believed in God since the Bush administration (either one). With the constant war, famine, and natural disasters that plague our planet, I have a hard believing that an eternal, omnipotent deity would allow such terrible things happen, while simultaneously being offended when I drink coffee.
And then my faith was renewed.
I was reading KSL.com the other day for hard-hitting news, when I stumbled across a headline that changed my life. This headline was so beautiful, so pure, and so true, that there could only be one explanation for its origin: it came from God himself.

Lord, is that you?
“…FORCES RODEO QUEENS…”
Yes God, fill me with your light!
“…TO RIDE STICK PONIES”
Amen!! I believe again!! All glory be to God!
